Useful and exactaly what I needed. Worth the money.

NIce to have an inexpensive app that can help you figure out where your large files are and let you decide whether they are worth keeping. Integration with quick-look is helpful too. Bought this on a whim because it was inexpensive and am very happy with the results!

Terrific app. Does exactly what it is supposed to do. And very simply to use. I don’t need or use it every day but when I need to know about file sizes, efficiency, etc., Disk Map is easy to unwrap and use. Attractive, straightforwardly wrapped makes it easy for my cluttered mind to use app when I need it. Geo

Can’t delete files directly from the result. Can’t re-load previously scanned image without starting over.

For the life of me I couldn’t figure out what was taking up so much space on my 128 GB solid state drive (Mac Book Air). I only had about 30 GB left so I started looking through the app store for a solution. I have already installed (and love) Disk Doctor, another one of FIPLAB’s masterpieces, so I figured I’d try Disk Map. After using it to map my applications folder, I quickly learned that 2 games I had downloaded were taking up 30 GB of space alone! I honestly thought that they were each taking up 3-4 GB each before the analysis. The mapping system is intuitive, eligent, and very helpful. After mapping through the rest of my hard drive folders, I’ve successfully removed 18.58 GB of data. Incredible program!

It would be nice if you could manipulate the files in other maners than just compressing or deleting them. For example, I would like to easily delete folders without deleting the contents or moving chunks of folders into other sections easily. nice app

All of FipLab’s library of utility programs are well worth the small investment in exchange for the VERY large return. I’m at the point now, to where they post a new App in the Apple “App Store” I just punch the Buy button. I’m Hooked! JohnK

Disk Map provides enough information in a fast, graphical display.

This program doesn’t do anything special. You can get the name of the files and the size of them by looking in the folder they are in. It is setup in a very inconvenient was and that’s the rating from me. It works but doesn’t really do anything. ave your money there must be something better out there than this.

I recommend all computer users use this app to know how their hard drives are being utilized. This app is fast and displays useful visual information.

for thow of you who do not know what "tree -h" is it is a terminal comand the show all files in you worken derectrey. aka nered hacking tipe of stuff like in the matrix. this well made porgram that helped me find a miss places gun zip 1TB file. but the speed can be sligtly inporved than what is now. do not get me wong it fast but it can be faster.

Disk Map is my go-to program when I start running low on disk space again. Having a visual categorized representation of my data is helpful beyond description.

I like FIPLAB apps, and this one is as visually cool as any. I’m not sure how useful it is though. It provides nice schematic diagrams of files and folders on my hard drive, but whether or not the app makes these files easier to “locate, delete or compress" remains to be seen.

One of the best apps I’ve used so far. Highly recomanded.

This application provides a wonderful piticoria representation of your system. Excellent for mind-mapping especially in beta-testing Apple pre-realeases. I also find it very helpful in teaching those who are in want to ‘see’ the they architecture of OS X - especially when migrating from other operating systems. I highly recomend it for everyone and any age point.

This is a very easy to use, intuitive interface.

Being able to visualise your disk usage is a great tool to have in your toolkit and Disk Map does it flawlessly. The amount of disk space I’ve saved and the number of surprise observations I’ve made based on these visualisations continues to shock me. Great software, strong recommend.

The neatest and one of the best programs I’ve ever seen or can imagine

Title says it all - my external 3 TB was getting down to the last few GBs so I scanned, deleted, and presto! My drive’s no where near full now!! Thanks Disk Map!!! —E.

Terrific app, which does exactly what it sets out to do and lets you manage your hard drives in an easy and efficient way. It’s great when developers produce something really useful, perhaps more than you thought it would be.
